New SIA Rear view mirror Parking tags
To All SIA Members
The idea of parking stickers or tags for SIA vehicles was discussed at the annual meeting last November. The primary issue was the overflow of beachgoers from public Wabasso Beach that frequent E. Shell Lane. It was decided to find a reasonable solution to identifying cars on our streets as belonging to SIA members or guests so we did not end up towing member’s vehicles.
An inexpensive rear view mirror hang tag was chosen – cost 20 cents each. These tags are available to all SIA members who park their car on the street or drive down to the beach crossovers and park temporarily to let their family or friends off. There will be two tags allotted to each SIA member. Just write your address in the blank space on the tag and hand it from your rear view mirror. If you need more than two tags just ask. We do have some extras.
