The Election Ballots have been mailed for the SIA Annual meeting, to be held Saturday November 4, 2023 at 10am at 1995 W. Barefoot Pl. in the driveway. Look for the large 10 inch by 13 inch white envelope in your mail.
Please read the material in the election packet thoroughly. It is important for you as an SIA member to participate in the annual meeting. This meeting is required in our bylaws and must have a quorum of members in attendance to make the election official.
To have your vote counted and for you to be counted as attending the meeting, you must fill out and send in the Voter Certification form you will find in the packet.
If you cannot attend the meeting, please send in your completed voter certification form and your completed proxy form.
A stamped pre-addressed envelope is included in the packet for your convenience.
A – Voting Instructions
- Fill out your ballot
- Fold the completed ballot and insert it into the BALLOT ONLY small envelope.
- Seal the small envelope
- Place the sealed Ballot Only envelope into the pre-stamped and addressed envelope provided.
- Do not seal the pre-stamped envelope until completing steps B and C.
B – Voter Certification form
1. Fill out the Voter Certification Form provided
2. Fold the completed Voter Certification form in the per-stamped envelope next to the Ballot Only envelope.
3. Do not seal the pre-stamped envelope until you have completed step C
C – Proxy form
1. Fill out the proxy form even if you think you will be attending the meeting. This way you are sure to be counted as attending even if something happens and you can’t attend. Fill in the name of the SIA member who is certain to attend the meeting and whom you want to represent you.
2. Fold the completed proxy form and place it in the pre-stamped envelope next to the voter certification form and the Ballot only envelope.
3. Seal the pre-stamped envelope and mail it before Oct. 28 to make sure it arrives in time for the meeting.
